How do I use this guide?

IAAO Library Guides are collections of resources from the Paul V. Corusy Memorial Library, available online and at our headquarters in Kansas City, MO. To see the full list of guides, click "IAAO Library Guides" at the top of the page.

All linked and referenced resources are available to IAAO members through the library. Some materials are available to nonmembers with a service fee.

Resources comprise four categories:

  • IAAO articles, primarily from Fair+Equitable, the Journal of Property Tax Assessment & Administration, or Assessment Journal. Links direct users to the articles in the Research Exchange; log in using an email associated with an active IAAO account for full text access.
  • IAAO library books available for members to checkout. Links direct users to the Library Link catalog; users will be prompted to log into the IAAO website for full access. Click "Request" on any item to begin the checkout process.
  • Articles not published by IAAO but held in the library. Link direct users to the Library Link catalog. Click "Request" for these items as well. The library staff processes these requests for members the same as books.
  • Additional links to online resources. Some of these resources are published by IAAO, but most are not.
