Abstract:
Empirical market factors are forcing change in industrial real estate. Beginning with an historical survey from the Industrial Revolution through the 20th Century, transitioning to identify influences and preferences for all major sub-categories of industrial real estate, and concluding with an exploration into the rise of e-commerce and global distribution networks with case studies from Amazon and FedEx.
